Value of content : 7/10
OSWP is added value if you have a learned One subscription as it is offered with such a subscription. I would not take this as a stand alone course though. I am glad to have done it and I have learn quite a bit, about WIFI theory the different protocols, algorithms and so on. The course if far from advanced on the topic of WIFI pentesting, in short, if you do not have any particular experience in WIFI pentesting you will learn the basics, if you already do have experience, find something more suited for your level.
The course basically goes over all the theory of WEP, WPS as well as WPA/WPA2 personal and enterprise. It does have a lot of good theory in there and I will surely refer to the course material when out hacking WIFI. However as stated above the vectors of attack are the common ones for each and you are bared from using more automatic tools which are available in real life pentesting engagements.
Cost to value ratio : 5/10
If it wasnt for the learn One subscription it is not a course I would of purchased.
Do I recommend it : Yes.
If you have learn One.
What it does well :
Gives you a lot of good theory on how WIFI work and some of the tools you can use to exploit vulnerable configurations.
Room for improvement :
There are no labs, it really baffled me and I do not understand why they haven’t put that in place, you read on all this stuff and you do it in the exam.
Overall evaluation :
- The course teaches theory well, it covers the essentials of WIFI pentesting.
- The fact that there are no labs to me is ridiculous.
- The exam was a lot of fun, it is always the best part of Offsec courses really had a blast.
- Recommended if you don’t know how to hack WIFI and you have a learn One subscription

Best notes I have encountered :
https://github.com/dh0ck/Wi-Fi-Pentesting-Cheatsheet/tree/main/Wifi/cheatsheet - Tips:
Do the course material quickly, setup a lab or get acces to WIFI lab through other courses.
You can however just prepare the different attack vectors from the course material and the cheatsheet above and have it in the form of a checklist for the exam and you should be able to get your certification.
